Thanks for bringing us news of this event. 

My prediction is that there will be a significant number of late pulls due to 
rear end tightness/lameness. That cold damp weather and mud will drag them 
down. As the course gets more chopped up it will really come into play. 

When they come into vet checks with a hot sweaty horse, and that cold damp air 
works on them... heck it makes me ache just thinking about it.

Wish I was there, but that is how life works out sometimes.
