[RC] Grand Canyon D4 - stevesphoto@xxxxxxxxxxThe weather here in ride camp just keeps getting better every day. It was cold this morning but the normal heavy frost was not present. Skies were clear again with the exception of some very high scattered clouds to the south, they managed to disappear early in the ride.41 riders hit the trail this morning. Todays trail sent the group over to the east rim area and they the Arizona trail along the rim. I attempted to get photos from that area but the sun was right in my lens so most of the photos did not turn out well from this afternoon. The second loop involved a trail called "Tater Canyon", not sure what is behind the name but some of the riders said it was a lot of "fun". The top ten finishers are in so here is the list from today: DArla Wright Crockett Dumas Howard Kent Deborah Breshears Karen Fredrickson Corrie Clinton Cynthia Ariosta Debbie Bosco Forrest Tancer Brent Johnson I have heard that there was one pull from today but I have not been able to confirm this. Tomorrows trail hits the north rim Rainbow trail again only from a different direction. I am looking forward to a clear day to shoot the riders in that area as it was storming pretty good the last time they were in that area. I have been uploading photos from each day to my web site so if anyone has someone riding the Grand Canyon this year you can go and see "how they look".
