Re: [RC] FYI Garmin Forerunner 305 on sale - vccfarms

I have used the HRM that comes with it many miles of training as well as the few rides I have been on and it works great.  Just either elongate the HRM strap or fasten it to the girth.  I have done both with no issues.

Subject: [RC] FYI Garmin Forerunner 305 on sale

Hi all,

I went to purchase a Garmin 305 (touted by many riders as the best endurance GPS device available) and was pleasantly surprised to see that they are on sale from Amazon for only $139.99 including free shipping!

Just thought I'd send out an email and let ya'll know because I definitely though they were much more expensive!

On a side note the HRM that it comes with does not work with a horse but you can buy an adapter kit if you like from distance depot   for $75.

Also for anyone interested in more info...April Johnson wrote a couple of really good blogs on her use of this set up specifically for endurance.

Just click on the hyperlinks to take you directly to the sites I mentioned.
