[RC] Keeping trailer tire temps low - rides2far@xxxxxxxxA while back you guys were talking about problems keeping tire temps down. This report of our local Back Country Horsemen's speaker's recommendations were interesting: snip< Gary Cox from Sundowner of TN in Sweetwater presented a program on trailer safety. Some of the safety tips were: put nitrogen in your tires to decrease the tire temperature as you drive; have your wheel bearings lubed and packed (they can perform yearly maintenance on electrical, wheels, etc.); Also check the caulks on the roof because they can crack over time due to trailer flexing. ____________________________________________________________ Best Weight Loss Program - Click Here! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/BLSrjpTFoYbmaagrIJsu3cRsuFc73cmnU6jV2wrPrbKlSDZA9MCjE6gCtZO/ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
