That was my question. And if they look better, why don't they update the pics. I have a mare at my place that looks a little better than they do, but she is 34 and I am sure has Cushings. I free feed her...........mb

I am going to assume that these pictures were from when they first arrived at the shelter?
Otherwise, why do they still look so bad after being there since August 19th?

Heads up, those in southern California, just got this from the ctr list.
To those of you in Southern California, The San Bernadino Humane Society has eight arabian horses that need to be adopted or they will be euthanized. If you would like a very nice arabian contact them right away. Liz Grogan has seen them and said they would make great distance horses. Don't wait.
