To avoid any concentrated spots of weight under your butt in a sports saddle, 
consider the Saddleright pad. It does not squish down or collapse and is 
guaranteed not to do so for life. The downside is that it doesn't have a built 
in spine gullet like the Skito so it might not work on really high withered or 
bony spined horses. The website is www.saddleright.com (the site is a mess and 
sounds really snake oil salesman-ish, but the pads really are the best I've 
found for absorbing and dispersing concussion)
