I've been following this thread with a lot of interest, but am wondering
when someone suggests a blood workup, what exactly do I ask for? I've
heard it mentioned so many times, and it sounds like this magical thing that
will instantly tell me exactly how to fix everything with my horse. Okay,
I know that's not true, but having had some heat/energy issues with my horse
last season which I think were due to my having switched elytes (couldn't think
of anything else I'd done differently), I've been thinking of having one
done. However, I'm also wondering if it depends on when you have it
done. Wouldn't it be different depending on what your horse's
circumstances are? Should it be done at a ride? Would I get answers
if I had it done now, when my horse hasn't done any real work for a couple
months?
