Re: [RC] Proper hay storage - RavenHi...I have concrete floors in my barn. I lay wood pallets down and stack the hay cut end down for the first layer. I have never had any problems with mold, etc. You can get used wood pallets for free or cheap, just ask around. We make sure the open end of the pallet is in the front of the stack and leave enough space in the back of the stack for air circulation. Every year...before we get new hay, we lift the pallets up to clear/clean under them. Hope that made sense.
