But, just say that's my choice and I don't really give a **** about whether or not I become a horrible burden to my children, friends and society over something so simple to prevent. It really ticks me off when people make up "BS" reasons why they don't wear them... Hear, hear!!! I wish I could say this stuff without it sounding so mean spirited, but you have no idea how it makes me feel to hear someone reinforcing the idea that if you are a good enough rider, you don't need a helmet. I am not for more rules, but frankly you are changing my mind. I agree with your post 100%. And I've come around to the idea that the AERC should require them for ALL riders. Then if you don't want to wear one, fine, just don't ride any AERC rides. -- Joe Long aka ChipRider jlong@xxxxxxxxxxxxx =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
