Ah yes - the periodic helmet fist fight. While I let others comment
from "the idiocy of not wearing a helmet", "it my damn head - I
scramble it if I want you can't tell me what to do" to the by golly I
make my kids do it but you can't make me do it."
I would, however, like to remind or inform everyone in Florida of Nicole’s
Law which goes into effect 1
Oct on all state lands in Florida. Nicole's requires the use of a
certified helmet for equestrians 15 years old and under riding on State
lands.
I have been told that initially the rangers will be enforcing it with
education. However, it comes with a fairly stiff fine and eventually
those in violation will be ticketed.
