RE: [RC] Epona shoes: grippy vs slippery?? - Karen StandeferIt all depends on your horse, but generally they are grippier on all surfaces other than slick, wet clay and wet grass. However, they are grippier than boots on either of those surfaces as well in my experience. I've been using them for 3 years. The thing I really like about them is that the harder material still slides well on most surfaces and doesn't cause a lot of "stop" which is bad on the joints. I've heard the Eponas are grippier except on grass so want to know if anyone has opinions about that and about whether they are really slipperier on grass and if so how much a problem this presents. Thank you for feedback, general or specific! Mary K. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
