[RC] Spooking - Bobbie Jo Lieberman

Yep.  Their reaction time can outpace their brain speed very easily.
It depends on how strong the fear trigger is.

I used to tell one of the gals I was riding with a lot (her horse
was a very solid citizen)  "your horse does not want to fall off
this trail any more than you do."
