[RC] I love Ridecamp, too! - Bruce Weary

In case Beverly is not being tongue in cheek (as it's hard to tell with the written word sometimes:), this wasn't about whether the horses were
engaged in an endurance ride or not, even though that is what they titled the event. It was about whether relatively inexperienced, but highly competitive, riders can get a horse into
trouble in 25 miles or less. Our own history has sadly, but overwhelmingly, proven that they indeed can. That's where my concern came from, as the event
was FIRST described to me, and I'm sure, others. I don't pretend to know anything about the Long Riders, their opinions or agenda.
Kudos to the UAE for apparently recognizing the need for proper veterinary supervision and showing up with solutions instead of debate from 12,000 miles away.
Had that been clear at the outset, I'm betting the outcry would have been muffled somewhat. Bruce Weary
