These tough, hardy, pissy little ponies went 25 miles/day--a distance not even worthy of Top 10 or BC. <insert tomato toss here or wait til winter> The "horse welfare" issue was a smokescreen for the fact that certain egotistically disenfranchised, internationally marginalized curmudgeons, not mentioning the Long Riders by name, suffered from fulminating, degenerative, terminal, Jungian Dark Shadow-archetypal NIHism (Not Invented Here).
