yes you would be correct.  there was a natural gas explosion that caught 
both the buildings and the hillsides on fire.  the fire is no longer 
spreading,  however the CHP has both directions of hwy 9 through brookdale 
closed at this time

for a while there was the potential for a major fire but air tankers were 
full and above the Lockheed fire. they were diverted and dropped retardant 
on the fire stopping the spread before it could really get going.

we got lucky
