[RC] TN & KY Trail-Sheltowee Trace meeting - rides2far@xxxxxxxxHey guys, This meeting could hardly have been scheduled worse for horse representation...it's the weekend of the Big South Fork 3 day endurance ride! If you know of any trail riders to send over to represent us....do it! Maybe we could pass around a letter at the ride and get somebody to drop it off on their way home???? Angie Meeting to Discuss the "Future of the Sheltowee Trace" For those of you not familiar with it, the Sheltowee Trace is 260-mile back country trail through Daniel Boone National Forest , Big South Fork NRRA, and Natural Bridge , Cumberland Falls , & Pickett State Parks in Kentucky and Tennessee . A meeting has been scheduled to discuss the Sheltowee Trace and is open to anyone interested in the trail. It will be held at the Clark County Extension Office in Winchester . (MAP) This meeting has been initiated by a group of folks who are primarily hikers, but are interested in getting all trail groups involved. Note also that the conference is being hosted by Frank Beum, the new Forest Supervisor for the Daniel Boone National Forest . Mr. Beum took over this position on August 3rd. This would be a good opportunity for trail riders to begin to get to know our new Forest Supervisor.
