Back in the late 50s I went to high school at the Thomas School in Rowayton,
Connecticut.  The year the school decided that its teams ought to have a nice
"uniform", they ordered up a crisp white shirt, grey tunics and some quality
sweatshirts with the school's initials emblazoned on the front.  Needless to
say, those sweatshirts were EXTREMELY popular with everyone... except maybe the
administration when they found out that TS didn't stand for just Thomas School.
