I do as mentioned, and open package, turn back the
edge or, put a piece of tape along the vetwrap, to make starting it easier, but
I also take an empty bottle of water, cut it in half, the length of the vet
wrap, and stick the roll inside, THEN put in my pack. It protects it even more
from getting beat up and squished, and unable to use it.
