[RC] diarrhea/pudding stools - a.hoinsI’m hoping someone can help shed some light on my mare’s chronic diarrhea/ pudding stools. I purchased Penny two years ago. She had loose stools then and I have never been able to get them to firm up at all. She is 10 years old, has a healthy bloom, good eater, and great on the trail. She has been on a regular worming schedule, being power packed twice since purchased. Her blood work shows some levels above/ below normal range listed below. Could this be some kind of food allergy or intolerance? Thanks for any help, Annie and Penny Urea Nitrogen 28 mg/dL (high) AST (SGO) 399 U/L (high) Globulin 2.1 g/dL (low) CPK 1587 U/L (high) LDH 496 U/L (high) Vitamin E, Serum 420.71 (ug/dL) Selenium, whole blood 35.55 ug/dL =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
