rubs are common with the Epics. Some users of the Gloves are finding the new
gaiter does not cause quite as many problems, but still causes rub sores on some
horses. And the traction in mud is also a known problem. I'll only
use boots in dry conditions, but I do still use them whenever hoof
protection is needed.
If anyone needs to
know more about boots and booting, there is a yahoo group,
barefootendurancehorses, where you can get all the info you need from riders
that are making barefoot work for their horses...or not
