Yep. Too pricey for me. As I said in another post, my sister and I were planning on going to part of it, as a vacation - right up until I looked at their ticket prices. Now we are going to find somewhere else to go on vacation. Too bad.

The cost to just go watch startled me. Opening Ceremonies cost $150. The cost to 'watch' the Endurance Event is $45. I don't know about most folks but i could go see Paul McCartney for that amount of money. Never have i ever heard that you had to pay to go see the opening ceremonies of an endurance event. Endurance has now hit the high roller league.
Is this progress or a set back, or just the way of the world?
