So far, the best ones I have found are the ones made by SnugPax. Austrailian Connection sells them. I get the 'short' version (they come in two lengths, but some sites only sell the regular length), as Caisson is only about 14.2, and even the short length is a bit long for his front legs.
I normally keep them in the freezer, but they should be fairly effective even if they are just kept in a cooler with ice and water. That is what I'm going to do next week on my camping trip. They are easy to apply, as they are made like trailer wraps, with velcro attachments.
The SnugPaxs are also pretty tough. Caisson isn't thrilled about having them on his rear legs, and he has kicked them off a couple of times. I had to repair the velcro stitching, but the nylon cover stayed intact, even with him stomping on them...
I've tried the Ice Horse boots, and didn't like them. I get much more consistent (and better) results with the SnugPax. I've tried gel packs inserted into Sport Medicine boots, but they didn't seem to keep cold very long, and were a bit awkward to apply. I've even rented one of the snazzy Game Ready systems. I couldn't get consistent results with that, either.

Does anyone have any recommendation for ice boots? I was looking at some which required freezing inserts and the Cool Medic product which doesn't, but thought the ice boots would be colder, perhaps more therapetic? Thanks! Insert movie times and more without leaving Hotmail®.See how.
