Re: [RC] Biting horse - Rebecca FabiszakMy vet says that our filly is a natural, "wanting to bite and bite HARD" filly because she has wrinkles under her eye when pissed or irritated. That is the only indicator, the wrinkles. She has nipped a couple of time, gets corrected and has been good since. We are still very watchful when those wrinkles appear. As I have heard, biting is the most aggressive thing a horse can do. I am not too much of a fan of "double barreling" either. She means business because her ears are back. I want to wallop her in the face, but know I should not. By the time you can get her untied and jerked around as punishment, the time frame for punishment has about run out. I would like to hear from anyone with similar past experiences.
