Re: [RC] Biting horse - Nancy SturmI am having a problem with a horse that has bitten people several times when they are standing near her with their backs turned and she is tied.I bought a large (14.1) pony gelding to drive. He was very quiet and nice to ride and drive, but he was a bad biter. He would just snake his neck out at random times and grab my arm hard enough to break skin. I jumped and yelled at him each time and then realized one day he had quit biting. He never bit again. I don't know why he started and I'm not quite sure why he stopped. That said, I had a TB race trainer friend who had a stallion grab her face and tear it so badly she required years of plastic surgery.
