Re: [RC] FEI CoC-- - Steph TeeterI could be wrong too, but I'm pretty sure FEI sets the bottom line CoC. It is not specific to any particular venue or championship, but rather every 4* event. (the continental championships, world championships, CEIO's). The OC can have some input, but I don't think it can over-ride the time limit FEI sets. In the case of Malaysia they added an additional qualification - typically a CoC is good for 24 months, but for Malaysia they required an additional sub 13:20 hr 100 within 12 months.Steph (I took my name off the subject line :) On Jun 8, 2009, at 1:35 PM, terre wrote: Steph said:I think the FEI may have painted themselves into a corner by moving the sport towards absolute speed performance on a fast course, rather then relative speed over a challenging course. They recently reduced the qualification requirement for championships to 100 miles in under 12:30 - which eliminates most technical courses. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
