[RC] Yucca - Bruce Weary DCHi Liz-- Good points, and you may be right. Technology, science, and public opinion move so fast these days, it's often hard to keep up, not to mention choose which issues deserve attention and priority at any given time. On the yucca thing, I guess I'm confused why some people demand it be taken off the list. If it truly has no effect, why do they want to use it? I don't think policy should be changed largely because a favored feed happens to contain it. I honestly don't know if yucca is of current interest in the research world right now. The few studies I could find showed measurable effects, but the studies were also apparently flawed in their design. This doesn't necessarily mean the yucca had no effect, rather it means the conclusions can't be confidently accepted because the flaws in the studies may have tainted the findings. More good studies need to be done before we can confidently go in one direction or the other. Until then, it's "hurry up and wait."
