And that is one of the other keys ... education of the public. If you can educate them, so they know that what they are actually seeing is an animal in pain, then perhaps the box office will show a decline, and provide real incentive for change.

They should come to the barns after the show when the horses shift from foot to foot because it is painful and some of them just lay down because of it. The worst of the big lick horses I ever saw in person was a horse named Crystal Ball.
