I, too, used fly masks 24/7 for a few years with no problem. Then, sadly, one of my Quarter mares with prominent , large, eyes (think Arab!) almost was blinded when the material of the fly mask rubbed her cornea. This happened overnight. I removed them and checked them frequently, thank Heavens, or she would have had much more permanent damage. I switched to the Bug Eye mask from Kensington, and have had better luck. Just FYI. Linda
