In general I don't like wearing gloves either,  since they dull the 
tactile sensation and can be hot.  What I've finally settled on for 
longe line work, etc are golf gloves (you have to buy one for each 
hand, but I play golf and have plenty of used right-handed ones).  Sort 
of like wearing a second skin.
