Considering that selenium is toxic in large doses and that the directions limit how often it can be given I wonder what the advantage was to inject rather than simply supply the supplement orally. I recently bought some vitamin e & selenium for the first time in a long time. The scoop inside was really big, so I read the directions and the recommended dosage was far less than the scoop size. That irritated me. I wonder how many people just automatically give one scoop a day assuming they give you the proper sized scoop. I know it won't kill them, but it can screw up their hooves.
