I highly recommend April's site - if you can't figure it out from the
info she has there you should consider giving up :)

Hi, Lisa,
I have used Garmin HRM/GPS units for years. I have
always used the VMAX adapter kit with great success.

Hi
There! I have a question that I don’t know who can answer so I’m trying
you. I’m an endurance rider inCanada. I bought a Garmin
GPS with a built in heart rate monitor. The heart rate monitor came with a
wire less sensor, however this sensor is for humans. I have tried to get a
reading off my horse with it and it won’t read and it won’t fit. I know
that there are people who use this for their horses and I was wondering if
you would know how I can use this for my horse. Is there some kind of
other sensor I can buy that will read with my Garmin product? Any help you
can give me would be very appreciated. I have tried to ask the people at
Garmin but they don’t know. Thank you!
