Wow, I didn’t think of Bon Jovi that would
be great. Especially that song from Young Riders. John Denver would be good
also but a little slow…maybe for the cool down.
I went through my iTune library of 4000+
songs and ended up with a few that had the 4 beats I was looking for but
thought I would get input from the group…boy was that a mistake.
Thank you for the kind input.

I haven't followed this entire thread so sorry if someone
already said this: SING! :) I sing a lot of John Denver stuff
and even some Bon Jovi going down the trail, among other things (not the
naughty stuff Jeanie Miller belts out). I sing badly, but it seems to
perk up my horse if he's lagging, either because he likes it or is anxious to
get away from it or what, I don't know. :)

I was glad to hear the suggestion of using only one ear
bud while riding down the trail. I have the buds I bought from
sportack, but I was reticent to use them anywhere but the arena and the barn.
I didn't even think about dropping one of the buds and turning down the
volume! Thank you for helping me through a Duhhh moment!
