It can be done by DIY'ers....as I installed all 3 of mine myself.

I left the installation of my HiTie to the pro's.? I went to the
dealership where I bought my trailer and they installed it for me at
a minimal cost.? I thought that they would know best on the structure
of the trailer that they sold me and besides, they have all the
correct tools.
