But I was wearing an ASTM certified Equestrian helmet which absorbed a lot of the shock, much like airbags do in car accidents (I have no doubt that I'd be dead without it). That I'm functioning well now, a decade lateer, just shows that the brain can heal. Corn snow, which is what I'd expect a ski resort in the New England/Quebec region to have in the spring is not a soft fall -- it's icey.
