I was attacked by a pit bull last week, on the dirt
road to my house that I also ride to access the wash, and I've since been told
that pepper spray might have kept him away. Have any of you been able to fend
off a vicious dog, particularly a killer pit bull, with pepper
spray?
I was alone that morning but often walk along there
with my dogs or my horse, so I'm very grateful that they weren't with me, and
that the wounds and bruises on my arm and leg are healing quickly. Think I might
even ride tomorrow.
I see that Mace makes a special canine spray. Has
anyone used it? Not sure it's much different than regular.
