[RC] 3/30's and one 60 ride - rides2far@xxxxxxxx

You must hold at least a 50 mile ride within 24 hours of a LD so by having a 
30 then a 30/60 then a 30 she is meeting the requirement.  This is a rule 
that was passed by the BOD a >>>few years ago.


Is this the sort of thing the board had in mind when they passed the rule or 
were they thinking that in order to have an LD you should have an endurance 
ride, but sometimes you might want to have the LD the day before? Anybody on 
the board want to weigh in?  This just sounds like something new to 
me...something I hate to see get started. I know CT likes to spread their 100's 
over 3 days, so maybe this seems normal to those from that background.
