[RC] endurance horse of the future - rides2far@xxxxxxxxOK, forget color. I've mentally been combining the threads of : "We're losing trails" and "What's the ideal endurance horse?" and "Maybe we could reward time in the saddle" and I've figured out how the sport could look in 30 years or so. Think about it, we want to feel like we've gone a long way, but trails are disappearing... how can we make shorter trails feel longer and get that time in the saddle that we crave? Then I was just fiddling around with youtube and suddenly...there he was! The horse we can ride all day and never run out of trail!!! I realize not all members of this breed could make the trail last like this horse does. We'd definatey have to selectively breed for this movement...this may be our foundation sire!
