For me, finally, something written and posted on RC worthy of a long, focused mastication by the horsemen and horsewomen who quietly populate this sport, who ride the hills, the plains, the single-track arteries of trails 'neath the smiling trees above the granite canyons, off of which echo the hoof and footfalls of the horses, mules and footmen/footwomen who course quite happily over and through the gleaming treasures of desert or mountains or silent woodland for no other reason than to be able to wake in the morning and, (riding the gaze of a far-looking horse), DO IT AGAIN...whether AERC-sanctioned or from the basecamp that is Home.
