Re: [RC] [RC] any trainer recomendations? - magnumsmomI am searching for a trainer for my mare. She's a
12 year old Morab mare,
approx 15.2 1300lbs. She is very very difficult to work with (not for me, she's good for me), is next to impossible to catch, super smart, especially at ways to avoid work and has bucked off every person that has tried to get on her. I l ove this mare to death but I am at my wits end with getting her under saddle. I would let her be a pasture ornament her whole life if I owned my own land but I can't conceivably board her much longer if I can't use her. I have had her teeth done, her back adjusted and she's got a clean bill of health from the vet, farrier, etc. I had a lady that specialzed in Parelli working with her over the summer and they made a lot of progress but when she tried to get on her it was a 5 second rodeo. We're located in Kalamazoo, Michigan and I would prefer a trainer within an hour or so drive from me but I will consider going further if the trainer is worth it. Jess Spoone-Raines
