I pay $22/bag of Empower. It’s quite
a bit higher in fat than regular rice bran. In addition, it’s
stabilized so I don’t have to worry about balancing out
Calcium/Phosphorus. My horses also eat it better than regular
ricebran.

Well, one thought....if you have to feed Empower to keep
weight on this horse, it would probably
be cheaper in the long run to buy another horse <g>
Isn't Empower about $40 a 50 lb bag? It has high fat content, seems you
could buy another source of fat cheaper....I can buy a 50 lb bag of rice bran
pellets for $9, and get jugs of corn oil at the cheap outlet store....
