Re: [RC] [RC] [Endurance Tracks] PETA vs. Bin Laden: News Stranger Than Fiction - Maryanne GabbaniThat is tooo funny. Omar doesn't exactly have the enthusiastic backing of some of the members of his family here who are good friends of mine. They've fairly politely characterised him as a flake at the least...maybe it's the hair, leather jacket and wife, but then there are undoubtedly lots of Binladen wives hanging about in the wings with all of those guys floating around. With 50+ sons, imagine how many 20 to 30 year old Binladen boys there are....boggles the mind. Hey! he could populate the ride with just his cousins!I notice that he and his wife are astride a pair of horses from the wonderful Nazlit Semman stable of Abu Basha, an establishment that usually furnishes underage, underfed and untrained horses to fools who want their pictures taken while clinging frantically to a saddle in front of the Giza pyramids. While those horses are well enough fed, the tie-downs are a good sign that I wouldn't trust the training too much. Why do I think that this is a tempest in a very tiny teapot?
