Re: [RC] Tribute to the Dog - Barbara McCraryFor some reason I cannot fathom, I am a cat-lover. I think perhaps I was a cat in my former life, because I like to sleep next to a nice crackling fire in the fireplace. When I am lying next to the fire, watching TV, our cat Sneakers (she has four white paws) comes, curls into the crook of my arm, lays a proprietary paw over my arm and snuggles close...all the while purring loudly. Now how can you beat that? She doesn't yap and yelp when she doesn't get her own way, and she doesn't chase horses. On the other hand, she doesn't warn us when she spots something unusual. I guess I love them both, but first and foremost, I am a cat-lover.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bruce Weary DC" <bweary@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 31, 2008 10:50 AM Subject: [RC] Tribute to the Dog My favorite cat story comes from a single caption cartoon I once saw. A "wife" cat and a "husband" cat are sitting at the desk of a "cat marriage counselor." Both are black cats. The wife cat is speaking, and she says, "Well everything was going fine in the marriage until he coughed up that blonde furball!" =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
