Oh, Carla, how very sad.  I want to sit down and cry right along with you.  If my ranch does not sell by spring I just might be one of those with the shaky handwriting!  I know how devastating it must be.  I know how devastating it can be.  Even the thought of having to place any more than I have is a torment.  I never would have thought in a million years that my partner of 13 years would have done what he did.  NEVER!  Leaving me in financial ruins at the worst economic times possible!  I have held on for three years.  I know I will hold on to my last grasp.  I also know, now, to never trust another human being with the financial future of any one of my horses.  You are correct, Carla, it is wise to reserve judgement!  You just never know what the circumstances might be.
