Re: [RC] Non-Competitive Rides - Barbara McCraryThat seems like a suitable alternative to losing the privilege of riding in some lovely country somewhere. I was told that competitive events were no longer allowed in High Rock Canyon in NV. A dozen events took place in that area some years ago. It would be a shame to lose that unique area to ride in. I would much prefer having a ride that was not competitive than not having it at all.Barbara ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dot Wiggins" <dotwgns@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "ridecamp" <ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; "AERCMembersForum" <AERCMembersForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2008 9:43 AM Subject: [RC] Non-Competitive Rides A question came up not long ago about how to handle parks or other areas that do not allow competitive events.
