[RC] Carcass Removal - kathy swigart

Carrie Kittley said:

Maybe the emotional side of it goes without saying,
?but honestly, I don't know if I could have a truck simply
?come and pick up my mare's "carcass" and haul her off.
I think I would need to find some place nearby, a friends
property, maybe to have her put to rest.?

If you live in the State of California (which I believe Carrie does), finding a
friend with some property and burying the horse is not a legal option.? You
HAVE to have somebody come with a truck and haul off the carcass.

And I am assuming that what we are talking about here are legal options open to
horse owners.? In fact, I thought that that was the purpose of the discussion.?
I can do whatever I want if I don't care about legality.? Unless, of course, I
were to fall into that category of people who only care about legality to the
extent that I might get caught.

Personally, I don't.
