She is almost solid bay; 15hands, perhaps a bit more; sturdy and could easily carry a heavyweight rider; friendly, easy to catch and handle. I clip her bridle path and legs with big, noisy livestock clippers and she's not a bit concerned. She's had a great deal of natural horsemanship training and has been out on trails extensively; she crosses creek and logs; I pony her off our John Deere Gator. She travels well in the company of geldings and is currently in a paddock with a very bossy gelding. She just says, "OK Charlie, whatever...." We bred and raised her but do not ride enough anymore to give her the attention she deserves. I am grieved that she is going to waste. She wants someone to be HER partner. She loves arena work, so I believe she could be extensively trained to show, or of course, be a trail and endurance horse. She has several siblings who have been or are endurance horses.
