What memories you just raised in my headspace!!! I've been to the Elko Cowboy Poetry Gathering, as well as the Arvada, CO, event. And WHAT FUN! I performed at Arvada one year, and have many friends in the Poetry arena.
You MUST catch up with Milton Taylor (from Australia)! And I think Jennifer Haig is there this year too! Both good friends of mine.... and lovely people... 'specially Uncle Milty! Hope you get this email and get a chance to talk to Milton before you leave!!
When I see you in a few weeks, I'd love to reminisce some more!!
