And it is now raining again on central coast CA.  We have above 24" now, and 
that is only about 8" shy of normal average.  It's only the end of 
January!!!  This is shaping up to be a very wet year.  But then, last year 
was a bit dry, so I'm not complaining.  Riding is not so great right now, 
because the trails are so slippery.
It's also colder than normal this winter.  We have the wood stove going 
24/7.  Good thing we love to cut and split firewood and have a ready source 
of raw material.  Trees have gone down all over the place, so we have lots 
to work with.
