Yeah, they get sweaty and muddy. Here in Texas, it can be anything between 30 degrees and 70 degres this time of year. If it's warm, I hose them off when I get home. If it's not, I just turn them out to roll in one of their sand pits. Then later when I go out to feed, I curry the dried crusty dirt, sand, and sweat off so that they're nice and fluffy again. I've never had any hint of skin problems on any of them.
