Second hand stores.

I go in and pay $3 -$8 for sweatpants to ride in.  Soft, comfortable 
except in the worst heat, the seams never seem to get under your knee, 
people can't see every little detail of your butt and it never looks 
like the nose of a blimp, and when they start to look tired, I convert 
them to work pants without a twinge of guilt.  :)
